StayLog: Install and Support
Install from the Chrome Web Store (recommended)
1. Open https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/choojllkdjmabelpafpglefeaobmkmib and click "Add to Chrome" (works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers).
2. Pin StayLog: click the puzzle-piece icon, then the pin.
3. Open StayLog, click "enter license key" and paste the key from your Gumroad receipt.
Updates install automatically.
Install from the zip (if you can't use the Web Store)
1. Download the zip from your Gumroad receipt or library and unzip it. Keep the folder; don't delete it after installing.
2. Open chrome://extensions (Edge: edge://extensions).
3. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder, the one that contains manifest.json.
5. Click the puzzle-piece icon and pin StayLog.
6. Open StayLog and paste the license key from your receipt.
Firefox 140+
In the unzipped folder, rename manifest.json to manifest.chrome.json and manifest.firefox.json to manifest.json. Open about:debugging, choose This Firefox, click Load Temporary Add-on and pick manifest.json. Firefox removes temporary add-ons when it restarts, so you'll need to load it again.
Update to a new version
Web Store installs update automatically. For a zip install: download the new zip, unzip it over the same folder (replace the files), then click the reload arrow on StayLog in chrome://extensions. Your watches and history are kept. The version number shows at the top of the StayLog popup.
Your first watch
Open a listing, add your dates and guests so a price shows, open StayLog and click Start watching. After the first check, open Values and compare them with the page.
Troubleshooting
• "That key didn't verify": copy the key again from your receipt, with no spaces. The message shows Gumroad's reason.
• A watch says "signed out": open the site in your browser, sign in, and StayLog resumes.
• "Robot check" error: open the page yourself and complete the check.
• Values are missing after a site redesign: StayLog re-scans after two bad checks. You can also click "rescan page" or "+ pick a value on the page".
• No checks are happening: StayLog only checks while your browser is open.
• A site asks for permission: StayLog asks for each site you watch, once. Choose Allow.
• Orange "Warnings" button in chrome://extensions (zip installs only): make sure you loaded the latest version, then send us a screenshot.

Email mohannevi93@gmail.com with your StayLog version (top of the popup), the site, and a screenshot of the problem. If a value is read wrong, a saved copy of the page (Ctrl+S, "Webpage, Complete") helps a lot; replace any guest names or phone numbers with fake ones first.
